Not sure what Dapp, Defi, or Cardano is? Scroll down, to see what the basics are!

The world’s first peer-reviewed blockchain. It’s being developed by a multidisciplinary team of engineers, scientists, mathematicians, business professionals. Cardano is a proof-of-stake, third-generation crypto and smart contract platform. It aims to solve problems such as scalability, interoperability, and sustainability.

Proof-of-Stake (PoS)

Instead of relying on 'miners' to solve computationally complex equations to create new blocks – and rewarding the first to do so – proof of stake selects participants (in the case of Cardano, stake pools) to create new blocks based on the stake they control in the network.

Delegation / Staking

Delegation is the process by which ada holders delegate the stake associated with their ada to a stake pool. It allows ada holders that do not have the skills or desire to run a node to participate in the network and be rewarded in proportion to the amount of stake delegated.

A Dapp, or decentralized application, is a software application that runs on the Blockchain. It's not hosted on a centralized server, but instead on a peer-to-peer decentralized network.

A NFT (non-fungible token) is a special generated token that uses Blockchain technology to link with a unique digital asset that cannot be replicated. It could be digital art, property or can be used in games to exchange characters or looted equipments.

A decentralized exchange is a peer-to-peer marketplace that connects cryptocurrency buyers and sellers.

How to earn in the crypto space?

Delegation / Staking

With staking you can get approximately 4-7% annual passive income on your ADA.

It is an alternative investment form, where investors lend fiat money or cryptocurrencies to other borrowers in exchange for interest payments.

Play to earn

With some games you are able to exchange the collected NFT. Some Dapps also pay you just for using them. They usually share the income with the users. (The income can come for example from ads.)
